CHARMA simply put, are one of the most energetic, entertaining and successful private function bands in the South Island!

​Charma is made up of:

Tere Mokotupu - Drummer/Lead Vocals
Tere is one of the fittest drummers around, probably because he's a fitness instructor at Les Mills. His cool beats will keep your feet dancing all night long, and his cheeky wit will have you laughing till it hurts. Tere is the founding member of Charma since it's debut in 2001.

John Fogarty - Guitar Player/Lead Vocals
John started playing guitar at the very early age of 11 and hasn't stopped playing since. Not only is he an excellent guitarist, he is a very competent singer and loves performing as much as he can.

Shayne Sparks- Bass Player/Lead Vocals
Shayne has been playing in bands in Australia and New Zealand for the last 25 years. His wealth of experience and energetic attitude makes a welcome addition to Charma.
