Originally from the South Island of New Zealand, this family band was formerly well known to audiences as 'Jazzie's Groove' live band. The sequenced band was formed in 2000 and based in the north island since 2008, followed by Australia, they re-branded their name to "CARAMEL GROOVE". 

Playing at well over 100+ venues, with continuous performances throughout New Zealand, this funky, dynamic sequenced dance band consists of talented female musicians who are chosen specially for each event. They have performed numerous functions and generated a high-energised atmosphere everywhere they perform. The ladies are lead vocalists, with a full sequenced rhythm section of backing tracks recorded specially for them in the studio. The girls also commission a live band if the occasion requires. Performing classics from the '60s, '70s, '80s, '90s, and 2000+ to popular hits of today, CARAMEL GROOVE does it all!

CARAMEL GROOVE specialise in large corporate, and medium to small events; weddings, engagements, birthdays, work functions, conferences, sports clubs, fundraisers, and festivals in New Zealand and Australia.

Rachael Kesha - Lead Vocalist

Rachael’s musical background has come from learning classical piano at a young age. The youngest of 6 children in a musical family, she was influenced by her older siblings and mother, who plays several instruments. Rachael's professional music experience began at age 17. She has performed throughout New Zealand and developed a powerful soulful, R'n'B vocal style, with past experience in a 9 piece soul/blues band while based in Sydney, followed by performances in the Gold Coast, Brisbane and Singapore.

Rachael has performed for numerous corporate events namely; Wellington Business Gold Awards, NZ Business Awards, NZ Sports Awards, NZ Accountants Awards and PACIFICA AGM conferences, to name a few. Her vast experience has come from performing in cabaret shows at theatres, concert venues and 17 piece live band shows at public events for 10,000+ audiences. She engages well with her audiences large or small, and has a very warm, down to earth approach.
Jules Kesha - Lead Vocalist

Jules has a powerful and rich soulful vocal style, that has been described as a vocal polished for radio. Her musical background started from learning classical piano as a child and singing in Church. She has recorded jingles for Radio and TV and played the part of Ronette - actor and lead vocalist in the live stage Musical, Little Shop of Horrors.

Jules was lead vocalist in popular Dunedin bands 'Jules & The Jam-man' and originals band 'The Goods' with Malcolm Black (Netherworld Dancing Toys, New Zealand). Her further experience includes singing live on stage with well known R'n'B & Soul artist 'Ruby Turner' during her 90's NZ tour, singing with the Dunedin City Jazz Orchestra, performed at annual Oyster Festival events; sharing a stage with Jackie Clarke. She was overall winner of the Radio Dunedin Music Awards and won all 3 sections entered in R'n'B, Jazz and Contemporary.

Performances: Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Samoa, Singapore and throughout New Zealand. Jules has a lovely approach towards her audiences, but don't be fooled by this softly spoken sophisticated lady, she can bring the house down when she hits those high notes!
