The Quartet has played for Weddings, 21sts, Funerals, Balls, Corporate Functions, Jazz Concerts and Festivals, Wine and Food Festivals, in fact anywhere where music is an enhancement.
The world of Jazz is universal, and the Calder Prescott Jazz Groups span many of the styles of Jazz. A Jazz Quartet that can be intimate or as brash as required; A Six piece Dixieland Jazz Group for fun and happy toe tapping music; A Jazz Octet for the more formal Jazz Festival or Jazz Concert with music oriented to the Swing/Bebop Era. Finally a swinging 17 piece Big Band, the Dunedin City Jazz Orchestra, with a repertoire ranging from Glenn Miller, through Big Band standards to Jazz Rock. A very suitable group for dancing or listening. Four fully professional Jazz Groups for all occasions. |
